Each entity is responsible for the processing of your personal data when you engage with them. This Privacy Policy applies to both entities collectively referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our,” and to the brand Namana Bags®, under which all products are sold.

Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways when you interact with Namana Bags®. The information we may collect on the Site includes:

1. Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as:

  • Contact Information: Name, shipping address, email address, telephone number.
  • Account Information: Username and password when you register on our Site.

Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device.

5. Third-Party Data

Information from third parties, such as personal information or network friends, if you connect your account to the third party and grant the Site permission to access this information.

6. SMS and Mobile Messaging Data

SMS Opt-In Data: If you subscribe to text messages, we collect your mobile phone number, the date and time of your consent, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and the IP address from which the consent was submitted. This data is collected only when you actively tick the consent checkbox on our sign-up form or at checkout.

7. Video Reviews

Video Review Data: If you send us a video review to receive an extended warranty, we receive the video and the personal information it contains, such as your image, voice, name and country, together with the purchase date and product serial number you provide. We use this information only to check your review and register your extended warranty. We publish your video only with your explicit permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by contacting us, after which we will remove the published video. We keep video reviews for as long as your extended warranty is valid.

8. Order Confirmations and Acceptance Records

When you review and confirm an order through a personal confirmation link we send you, we record the information you enter or confirm on that page: your name and, for a business, its name and your position; delivery and billing addresses and the recipient's details; tax, VAT and EORI numbers where provided; your email address and phone number; comments, corrections and answers you send through the page, including whether we may publish photos of an order with custom embroidery; the payment method you choose; the statements you confirm; the versions of the order and of the contract documents you accept; and the date and time of confirmation, the IP address and approximate country derived from it, and browser information.

When you place an order in our online shop, we record with your order the date and time, whether you ticked the box accepting our Terms and Conditions and Public Offer, and the versions of the Terms and Conditions, Public Offer, Return Policy and Warranty in force at that moment.

We use this information to conclude and perform the contract, to make and deliver your order, to process payment, to prepare customs and accounting documents, to meet our legal obligations, and to keep evidence of what was agreed. The legal bases are the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in being able to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. To make and deliver your order, we share the necessary details with our manufacturer in Ukraine, which makes and ships the goods, and with carriers and customs authorities.

While you fill in the confirmation page, your answers are also saved in your own browser (local storage) so that you do not lose them if you close the page. This copy stays on your device and is not sent to us until you submit the page. It is removed when you confirm the order and is no longer used after 30 days; you can also remove it by clearing your browser data.

Confirmation records are kept for six (6) years after the order has been fulfilled, or longer where the law requires. They are not used for marketing. Confirmation links are personal to the recipient, are not indexed by search engines, and stop working after the period stated when they are sent.

Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience with Namana Bags®. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Site to:

  • Process and fulfill orders, payments, and other transactions.
  • Email you regarding your account or order.

They are never provided to third parties for marketing assistance.

With your consent, we may share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by law. This does not apply to mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in and consent data, which are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Business Transfers

We may share your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5. Affiliates

We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are excluded and are not shared with affiliates.

6. International Data Transfers

Given the global nature of our business, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you are resident. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country.

  • For EU Residents: When transferring personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

SMS / Mobile Messaging

1. Text Messages You Receive

If you provide your mobile phone number and give your consent, Namana Bags may send you text messages related to customer support and your orders. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is never a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get assistance by replying HELP.

2. Sharing of Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, order processing and delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your mobile phone number is shared with our messaging service provider for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you have requested. Where a phone number is required to complete and deliver your order, it may also be shared with shipping carriers and fulfilment partners strictly for that purpose. Neither of these constitutes sharing for marketing or promotional purposes, and in neither case is your SMS opt-in or consent data disclosed.

3. Records of Your Consent

We collect and store the phone number you provide, the date and time of your consent, the exact wording of the consent you agreed to, and the IP address from which it was given. This record is kept solely as proof of consent, for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards as required by applicable law.

4. Withdrawing Your Consent
